House HT - SW2 LONDON
This was a 12 month collaborative project working with great clients fully renovating, designing and finishing a maisonette and loft conversion. We started with the all important kitchen / dining area. This unique area was lovingly created together including special items and finishes.
I started with hand sketches which assist greatly in forming spaces and atmosphere. The challenge was to incorporate all the essential kitchen elements while retaining existing picture window and creating a large kitchen island. The room now has a cosy seating area with functional joinery below and a double f/f, double oven with warmer drawer, pull out pantry, coffee/tea station and a large island for entertaining prep and cooking. The island includes an invisible induction cooktop integrated into the kitchen island.
The interior has a great flow with paint colours introduced at the front door inviting you into all the spaces.
I worked with Judy for over a year on our house refurbishment. Right from the start she was imaginative, patient and has an excellent eye for detail. As we progressed through the project she did a wonderful job keeping our builder on brief, keeping standards high and pushing them to keep momentum up. Furthermore she helped as a sounding board for our ideas, was never dismissive of our more wacky suggestions, and helped ensure our fingerprints were interwoven with her scheme. Judy puts her whole heart into her projects and we were lucky to have her on our team!
